Tenth Announcement 21 April 2009

Complimentary copies of Significance 2.0

What we’re doing

The Collections Council of Australia is building a comprehensive database of all collecting organisations within Australia, in order to equitably select approximately 2,900 organisations to receive a free copy of its forthcoming publication Significance 2.0: a guide to assessing the significance of collections.

We are keen to ensure that our mailing list includes accurate information for all Australian collecting organisations.

How you can help

  1. Please check the PDF file relating to your state in the table below to ensure your collecting organisation is listed.
  2. If it is not already in your state's compilation, please fill out the NEW ORGANISATION FORM with the required details.
  3. If your organisation’s name is listed but is inaccurate, please LET US KNOW.
  4. Please feel free to circulate news of this compilation to colleagues and friends in other collecting organisations and encourage them to respond.
  5. All responses must be received by COB Friday 1 May 2009

Please note that this is not an ordering system. (See our Seventh Announcement for details of that system which closed on 31 March 2009.)

Why

If your organisation is not included in the Collections Council’s database, it will not be entered as a contender to receive a complimentary copy of Significance 2.0.
